Tricky Plans North American Jaunt

Trip-hop guru Tricky will hit the road next month in support of Juxtapose, his newly released collaboration with Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs and DMX cohort Dame Grease. However, neither Muggs nor Grease will appear during the tour.|

The outing's first two dates will be something of a family affair, though, as the Trickster brings his cousin Mark Porter's Baby Namboos along as a supporting act. The Namboos, whose sound falls somewhere between trip- and hip-hop, will release their debut album, Ancoats 2 Zambia, on Tricky's Palm Pictures imprint, Durban Poison, on Sept. 14. Tricky raps on three of its tracks, including the title cut.

Durban Poison act Genacide II, a hard-hitting U.K. techno outfit whose debut album, Ad Finite, drops on Sept. 21, will open all twenty-two shows.
