What america doesn't like is original acts; the velvet underground, jimi hendrix, blondie, etc. They don't understand bands like massive attack, understand their brilliance.
the operatics loom over this record, 3d raps over shara nelson's soulful yet mystical voice.
This is the record which invented "trip hop", even when it wasn't commercialy accepted, it has criticaly and is now being called the best british album of all time.
