Swamp Music: The Complete Monument
He's white -- for real -- with a Louisiana-bayou drawl in his voice and stories. But the snap and crackle of White's 1969-70 LPs, cut in Nashville and wrapped up here with many studio and live extras, were as funky as anything out of Stax or Muscle Shoals.
