Album Reviews
Doctors is Mr. Faith Hill's slickest disc yet. This is Nashville music that takes its cues from 1970s AM-radio pop: "She's My Kind of Rain" glistens with possibility, as does his cover of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer." But mostly McGraw sounds empty, as on "That's Why God Made Mexico" (in case you're wondering, Mexico exists only for Tim and Faith's vacations).
