On May 19, Epic Records and Sony Music will release Godzilla: The Album, a "killer" soundtrack featuring the Wallflowers, Puff Daddy, Jamiroquai and Ben Folds Five.|

The soundtrack, which also includes songs by Green Day, Foo Fighters, Days of the New, Silverchair and Michael Penn, will be released one day before the TriStar motion picture is set to conquer more than 3,000 theaters nationwide.

For their first recorded song since the release of Bringing Down The Horse, Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers have contributed a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes," which will be released as the first single and video from the soundtrack. Also, Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page collaborate on an updated version of the Led Zeppelin classic "Kashmir."

Jamiroquai's latest single, "Deeper Underground," is included, as is "American Eyes," the first single to come from Rage Against the Machine since 1996's Evil Empire. Videos for these new singles are in the works and should be well on their way by the middle of May. (Lana Fanelli)
