Australian rockers the Vines will headline the MTV2 Handpicked tour for its fifteen-date fall run. British indie sensations the Music will open all shows on the trek, which kicks off in Philadelphia November 19th.

The tour is named for the compilation series MTV2 Handpicked, the second volume of which was released today. Two versions of the Vines' "Get Free," the lead single from their debut Highly Evolved, are featured on the new collection; it also includes "Take the Long Road and Walk It," from the Music, whose U.S. debut will arrive in early 2003, as well as tracks from the Hives, Norah Jones, Coldplay, Howie Day and others.
