America Will Get Tragically Hip Next Week

(NEW YORK) - The Tragically Hip, one of the most popular rock acts in their homeland of Canada, are bringing their show to the U.S. this summer, with extended engagements in major cities. |

The Toronto band will kick off the tour with four intimate shows July 21-24 at the New York club Wetlands. They then play two shows in San Francisco, July 27-28; three in Chicago, Aug. 3-5; three in Boston, Aug. 10-12; and single dates in various cities through Sept. 4.

The band will also headline the WOMAD festival July 31 in Seattle and the Grape Jam Festival Aug. 8 in Erie, Pa. The band's eighth album, Phantom Power, will be out soon in the States on Sire Records. The set is co-produced by Steve Berlin (Los Lobos, Faith No More).
