Mike Skinner made a hip-hop concept record about London lowlifes,
girl problems and a missing wad of cash -- but his idea of hip-hop

urgent British slang, twitchy rock loops and half-accidental
rhymes, and his conversational flow keeps the narrative meandering
along.
