For all you Prodigy fans who were disappointed when they pushed back the release date for their new single, "Smack My Bitch Up," the wait is over. |

"Smack My Bitch Up" will be released to American radio stations on Nov. 4, according to Dave Neupert, the band's spokesman at Maverick Records. The rest of the public can then purchase the single -- either as a CD with five remixed versions of the song or as a 12" maxi single -- on Nov. 11 when it hits record stores.

England's New Music Express reports that "Smack My Bitch Up" will hit U.K. stores on Nov. 17

The single was originally slated for an Oct. 27 release, but because of the single's cover art (it depicted a smashed Volkswagen), Prodigy pushed the date back so they could change the picture out of respect for the late Princess Diana. Unfortunately, the final design for the new cover artwork has not been confirmed so we can't tell you what it looks like. (Ari Bendersky)
