(NEW YORK) - Prodigy's album The Fat Of The Land, which was removed from Wal-Mart and Kmart stores because of objections to the track "Smack My B*tch Up," may also be taken out of Target stores.|

A source at the retailer says that Target is in negotiations with Prodigy's label, Maverick Records, about shipping parental advisory stickers for the album. But, the source says, if the stickering turns out to be a logistical problem, then the album will be pulled from Target's 800 stores. A spokesman for Musicland says it is also in talks with Maverick about stickering but has made no decision whether to remove the album if the talks are not successful. Maverick executives were unavailable for comment.
