Phillly Gears Up For Jazz

Phillly Gears Up For Jazz

Philadelphia will heat up this Memorial Day Weekend as the Jam On The River festival hits the city. Seemingly modeled to appease those who couldn't make it to this year's New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, an all-star lineup of performers will make appearances at the three-day, four-night throw down. During the weekend, fans will enjoy eating cuisine favored by locals in Nawlins while listening to the likes of The Neville Brothers, Walter "Wolfman" Washington, G. Love and Special Sauce, BeauSoleil, Anders Osborne and New Orleans keyboard mistress, Marcia Ball. Tickets run $10 in advance, $12 at the gate and can be ordered by calling (215)336-2000. (AB)
