Bosstones Go Platinum

Posted Sep 20, 1997 12:00 AM

The Bosstones rack up some mighty good numbers. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones hit the platinum mark last week as sales for Let's Face It reached the one million mark.| Riding high on the success of singles like "The Impression That I Get" and "The Rascal King," the Bosstones have steadily sold 100,000+ units per week since the album's March 11 release on Mercury Records. The Bosstones toured incessantly this summer, traversing the country several times with musical extravaganzas like the Vans Warped Tour, the Tibetan Freedom Festival, H.O.R.D.E. and their own headlining tour, which showcases some hometown amigos as opening acts (Dropkick Murphy's, Bim Skala Bim and Amazing Royal Crowns).
