First six songs on album are great, the remaining songs are canny - overall a good album and an album of which our generation can be proud of!

I wanted to dislike this album, loathing as I do the pathetic whining of Morrisey, and the even more pathetic whining of his seemingly endless string of devotees. However, this is a sterling example of why indie music isn't doomed - poppy, rammed with hooks and more than a little unique in its delivery. Sure, it does rip off its fair share of other acts, and sure, Brandon Flowers doesn't have an amazing voice, but all is forgiven in the absorbing likes of 'Mr. Brightside' and 'Somebody Told Me'. They may have released too many singles, and been a little overplayed, but I'd buy this album just for what's easily it's best track - the bass-led 'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine'.
