Jesus Lizard Set To Record

Posted Oct 21, 1997 12:00 AM

Chicago indie legends, The Jesus Lizard are back in the studio to record their sixth studio release.| The as-of-yet-unnamed album will be their second on a major label; the band released Shot on Capitol in 1996. Recording will take place at Chicago Recording Company, with producer Andy Gill (Gang of Four, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strangers) at the helm.

The album is due out in Spring of 1998, but The Jesus Lizard will hit the road with Verbena after the record is mastered at the end of October. (Brandon Barber)
