San Francisco sirens announce winter tour

Posted Dec 17, 2002 12:00 AM

The Donnas will kick 2003 off with a month-long tour of the United States, beginning January 25th in Los Angeles. Chicago indie rockers OK Go will co-headline the outing, now scheduled through February 26th.

The tour is the Donnas' second in support of their October release, Spend the Night, their first album for Atlantic Records. "We wanted to make it sound as close to live as possible while still having the balls of a good studio album," guitarist Donna R. told Rolling Stone. "Mostly we were concerned with making sure it kicked everybody else's ass, everyone else that's out right now."
