Album Reviews
On this EP, the Dillinger Escape Plan team up with singer Mike Patton, once of Faith No More. There's almost no other rock band around that transmits anxiety so well -- without reaching for emotional depth, DEP pummel you with push-and-pull patterns, precise while teetering on the edge of incoherence. Patton's actorly freakouts complement the band's aesthetic; the highlight is a version of Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy."
