Big-Beat duo Crystal Method are working their first album in three-and-a-half years. The brain child of Las Vegas ravers Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, Tweekend will hit stores this summer, their first offering since 1997's Vegas.

For their second album, Crystal Method will have a handful of artists to back them up, including Fiona Apple , Stone Temple Pilots' Scott Weiland, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, as well as producer Jon Brion. Beck turntabilist DJ Swamp will also make an appearance on the album. Morello, currently looking for a lead singer to take Zach De La Rocha's place in Rage, co-produced four of the tracks on Tweekend, and three songs feature him on guitar.

For those who can't wait until summer, Crystal Method are offering a sample of Tweekend at www.thecrystalmethod.com. The duo also plans to kick off a headlining tour in June.
