(NEW YORK) - Hit singles from such wide-ranging artists as Mighty Mighty Bosstones, 311, Pantera and Crystal Method are collected on Mammoth's Music From The X Games, Volume 3.|

Available April 28, the soundtrack to the alternative sports competition blurs genre lines, drawing upon rock, hip-hop, electronica, punk, and ska. Notable tracks include Days Of The New's "Touch, Peel And Stand," Fatboy Slim's "Going Out Of My Head," and Fu Manchu's "Jailbreak."

This year's X Games will take place June 19-28 in San Diego. The event will showcase more than 400 international athletes competing in sports like barefoot waterski jumping, downhill in-line skating, bicycle stunt riding, street luge, and sportclimbing. In addition, the event's 10-city Xperience tour will begin in April and feature athletic demonstrations and interactive activities.
