Breeders Set Title, Date

"Title TK" to hit stores in May

The Breeders have finally set a title and a release date for their long-awaited follow-up to 1993's Last Splash: Their new album, Title TK, will hit stores on May 21st. The record was produced by Steve Albini, who also worked on the group's debut album, Pod.

The Breeders went on hiatus in 1994, and only resurfaced at an unannounced Los Angeles Club gig this past December. The band's current iteration -- featuring sisters Kim and Kelley Deal as well as new members Jose Medeles, Richard Presley and Mando Lopez -- has been touring behind the new material since January. Their current stretch of dates wraps up February 28th in Anaheim.
