The Bravery
If I had five minutes alone with Snoop Dogg ...
Sam Endicott: We did have five minutes alone with Snoop Dogg, and we took a picture.
Anthony Burulcich: We played a festival with him in Switzerland. We got inadvertantly stoned just from being in the general vicinity, even though he wasn't smoking when we were talking to him.
What's your take on the Bamboozle crowd?
Endicott: I saw a couple dudes in wrestling outfits, like full onesies. I took a picture of it. Must be the new style. Not really a good look for guys. Burulcich: A girl just tried to take a picture of me. She stopped me and said, "Oh my God, you look famous or something!' and I'm like, "Yeah, I'm in a band," and she's like, "Oh my God, I need a picture!" And I said, "You want a picture but you don't even know what band I'm in?" and kept walking and she ran after me, like, "Just tell me! I need a picture!" Then I told her and she was like, "Oh, I love you guys!"
Best thing about rocking a parking lot:
Burulcich: We've played a lot of overseas festivals, and if it rains a little, it's just three feet of mud. That's brutal. I much prefer the parking lot.
Dream festival headliners?
Endicott: Beatles, Nirvana.
Burulcich: Zeppelin with Bonham.
Endicott: Maybe we can assemble the awesome-est band ever. It'd be Axl Rose as the singer, Hendrix on guitar ...
John Conway: John Entwistle on bass, John Bonham on drums, Janis Joplin as a backup female vocalist.
Burulcich: And John Belushi on percussion. And Chris Farley doing the sound.
