Biography
The Blues Project, along with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band,
helped start the blues revival of the late '60s. The group was
formed in early 1965 with folk, bluegrass, and pop musicians. Danny
Kalb, formerly one of Dave Van Ronk's Ragtime Jug Stompers, and Roy
Blumenfeld, a jazz fan, had discussed playing folk and country
