Paul and Jeremy Stacey, who play on the album, will back Robinson on his month-long tour. Paul Stacey also produced the record and accompanied Robinson on his acoustic tour through August in advance of the release. The album is being packaged with a DVD documenting the making of the album.
"It's really soulful and rootsy," Robinson told Rolling Stone in August. "It's definitely more subdued -- either funky sounding Neil Young or folksy Steely Dan. This is all my thing, the way I feel -- things I probably brought to the Black Crowes but now are able to come to the front in the lyrics, and just in the vibe."
