The Atlanta-based rock combo, who finished touring the country
August 3 with the likes of Bob Weir, Bruce Hornsby, Mickey
Hart and moe. on the Furthur
Festival, is planning a fall tour and will hopefully have
a replacement for Ford by the time they hit the road. The Black
Crowes' management, Angelus Entertainment,
couldn't comment on whether or not the band has approached any
guitarists, but did say that they are planning on heading into the
studio soon. Stay tuned to JAMTV for more news on the Black Crowes. (AB)

Can you play guitar? Do you like hard, jammin' Southern Rock? Then
the Black Crowes might be looking for you.| With
what they called "musical differences," the Crowes have fired
Mark Ford, their guitarist since 1992, when he
replaced the band's original guitarist, Jeff
Cease.
