Jenny Jones airs episodes recognizing the impact of hip-hop

As most viewers can probably tell by watching Jenny Jones or any of thetabloid TV shows on the tube|, the hip-hop aesthetic is almost as prevalentin the suburbs and rural areas as it is in cities.

Jenny Jones will be tackling these issues tomorrow, when she airs an episodefeaturing Karl Kani, Doug E. Fresh and former Source Music Editor andcurrent XXL Editor-In-Chief Elliot Wilson. According to a press release,the guests discuss how hip-hop "has affected society and transcends racialand economic barriers."

The show will also feature pre-taped interviews with DMX and Coolio. Theshow will end with Doug. E Fresh premiering music from his new album.

On Tuesday, The Beatnuts will also be performing live on the show. Accordingto publicist Rebecca Murray, the band is scheduled to perform "Watch OutNow" in their signature top hats and tails. The show's subjectis past Jenny Jones makeover recipients. Jones will travel to the guests'hometowns to see if they have been able to maintain the look of theirmakeovers. The Beatnuts episode will air on October 22nd. - AdamMatthews
