True Story delivers more than you might expect from a star-fronted posse record. Fat Joe brings his A game for a change, and the vibrant production leaves plenty of room for a cavalcade of tough, talented voices. Big Pun is missed, but newcomer Remy Ma is wise and sassy enough to rhyme about going back to the streets if this whole rap thing doesn't work out.
