"These are the day sheets. We usually have rules up here, on our last tour we made them into laminates you had to carry around," Tegan says. "In Europe, there's no alcohol on the second floor of the double-decker. We don't allow shoes, just because you've got nine people tracking garbage in. We don't do hard alcohol. I think it keeps productivity up. I think ultimately people are very responsible in our organization anyway. We have a strict no-drugs and no-hard liquor rule only because we feel those could be destructive. We're already a pretty rowdy group. We have sober dance parties. We started touring in 1998. After ten years, I know that vodka shouldn't be on the rider, and if you slam the bunk door I know it's not just annoying me."
