Teenage Fanclub Postpones U.S. Tour
American admirers of Teenage Fanclub will have to
stick it out a bit longer before seeing the band on stage. The
Scottish 4-piece has postponed their U.S. tour, according to a
spokeswoman at Columbia Records.| Teenage Fanclub
was to kick off their eleven-day tour at Slim's in
San Francisco on Oct. 18 and end in Atlanta on Nov. 6 at the
Cotton Club. However, when the band's new album,
Songs From Northern Britain was released, the band was on
tour in the States. "They never had a chance to tour in Europe to
support the album," said Lisa Linder at Columbia.
