Malkmus Takes Out "Pig"

Twenty-one-date tour set for April and May

Indie hero Stephen Malkmus and his backing band the Jicks will tour North America behind their recent Pig Lib this spring. Dates are now confirmed to run from the April 29th opener in Los Angeles to a May 25th stop in Minneapolis.

Pig Lib, released in March, is the second installment in Malkmus' solo career. After disbanding slacker-rock godheads Pavement in 1999, he debuted with a well-received eponymous set in 2001.
