Since that time, a woman has notified police that Eisen had sexual intercourse with her fourteen-year-old daughter in January in an Old Bridge, New Jersey, parking lot. For that incident, he is facing charges of kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated sexual assault, and use of a motor vehicle for criminal purposes.
According to police, Eisen came in contact with the New Jersey girl online, posing as his own impersonator. "He has gone around pawning himself off as a look-alike of Tripp Eisen, even though he is Tripp Eisen," Old Bridge police lieutenant Robert Weiss told Rolling Stone.
Eisen will stand trial in California before being extradited to New Jersey.
"We believe that there might be other victims," Weiss added. "We're going to try to find out if he's been statutorily having sex with minors as he's been traveling around the country on tour."
Eisen, formerly a member of Dope, joined platinum-selling rockers Static-X in 1999 and has played on their subsequent albums Machine (2001), Shadow Zone (2003) and Beneath...Between...Beyond (2004). The band has been working on a new album with producer Ulrich Wild.
