In a month plagued with tour mishaps, the Chicago-based industrial act Stabbing Westward has postponed a string of upcoming concerts following drummer Andy Kubiszewski's recent Rollerblading catastrophe. |

Kubiszewski fractured his collarbone while skating outside the Barrymore theater in Madison, Wisc. on Thursday. The bruised and broken drummer has returned home to Los Angeles for several weeks of recuperation, while Stabbing Westward is left scrambling to reschedule at least 14 shows.

Columbia Records spokeswoman Lisa Lashley told JAMTV on Friday that the "Buzz Clip" regulars would most likely bump the shows back to July, after Kubiszewski's recovery. The band was touring theaters, clubs and radio shows in support of its fourth album, Darkest Days, which hit stores on April 7.

This nasty bout with Rollerblades follows less than a week after Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards fell off a ladder in his Connecticut home, injuring a rib and causing the world famous rockers to postpone several overseas dates. Just last month, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler began the latest rash of road rage when he injured his knee on stage in Alaska. Aerosmith postponed their tour so Tyler could undergo surgery; he is at home in Boston recuperating now. (Anni Layne)
