SNZ Call Wrigley a "Bad Businessman"

SNZ Call Wrigley a "Bad Businessman"

Posted Jul 24, 1997 12:00 AM

Even after Squirrel Nut Zippers said "no way" six months ago, Wrigley still went ahead and used the Zipper's song "Bad Businessman" in a commercial for Extra gum.| The band caught wind of the spot and ordered Wrigley to pull the ad. The Zippers will file a law suit against Wrigley according to Jen Plantz, a spokeswoman for the band. Plantz couldn't really give us to much information because "the details are still a little sketchy," she said. Stay tuned to JAMTV for the latest news in the case. (AB)
