Posted Jun 15, 1999 12:00 AM

In The Roots song "You Got Me," Black Thought of The Roots spoke of stepping off the stage at Paris' Elysee Montmarte and taking a a piece of a young lady's heart|. Now Jay-Dee, Baatin and T-3 of Slum Village will have the same opportunity.

On June 30, the Detroit trio will hit the Paris venue on their summer tour. The tour begins on June 26 at London's Brixton Academy. They will also play England's massive Glastonbury Festival on June 27, alongside acts such as The Roots, Dr. Dooom, Jurassic 5, Noise & Supernatural, Cold Crush Brothers and London MC Blak Twang. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Oxfam, Greenpeace, and WaterAid.

While only a few dates are confirmed, according to their management Barak Entertainment, they will travel back and forth between Europe, North America and Japan. Below is a confirmed schedule of their summer tour plans. They also have tentative plans to play shows in Detroit, Toronto, Sweden and Japan. Check your local listings for further information.
