Sheryl Crow will showcase "Soak Up the Sun," a song from her upcoming, as-yet-untitled album this Sunday in Pittsburgh, during halftime of the AFC Conference Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.

Crow is one of a number of musicians tapped by the NFL to provide entertainment during games as the season winds down. Jessica Simpson will sing the National Anthem at the Pro Bowl, which is set for February 9th at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Simpson will also appear at the Super Bowl XXXVI Cheerleading Spirit Clinic on January 26th at the Louisiana Superdome.

As for Super Bowl XXXVI, which will take place at the Superdome on February 3rd, pre-game entertainment will include Marc Anthony and Mary J. Blige, who will duet on "America the Beautiful" and Mariah Carey, who will sing the National Anthem. Paul McCartney will also be on hand to sing his September 11th-inspired song, "Freedom" prior to kick off. U2 are slated to perform at halftime.

And Sting and No Doubt have signed on to perform on Friday Night Super Bowl Bash, a new pre-game entertainment special, that will premiere on February 1st on CBS.
