Shelby to Bring "Love"

Grammy winner's new album due in November

Shelby Lynne will release Love, Shelby on November 13th. The album was recorded this summer in Los Angeles with collaborator/producer Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews Band), and it will feature the track "Wall in Your Heart" as its first single.

"Killin' Kind," a track which made its debut on the Briget Jones's Diary soundtrack, appears on Love, Shelby, as does a cover of John Lennon's painfully introspective "Mother."

The album is the follow-up to last year's breakthrough, I Am Shelby Lynne, which earned Lynne the Best New Artist honor at this year's Grammy Awards despite it being her sixth record.

Lynne will perform "Mother" and possibly another duet at TNT's The Come Together Tribute: A Night for John Lennon on September 20th at New York City's Radio City Music Hall. Other confirmed artists for the show include Beck, Alanis Morissette, Moby, Marc Anthony and Nelly Furtado. The Eurythmics' Dave Stewart will be the evening's music director, and the show will air on the cable network on October 9th, which would have been Lennon's sixty-first birthday.
