Grammy-winning singer Shawn Colvin and Tony Award-winning writer/actor Harvey Fierstein are set to appear on the musical TV-series "FAME L.A." next week.|

The two stars come together for the first time in an episode of the popular syndicated show, titled "Do or Die." The series, which centers around the hardships of aspiring actors, singers and dancers who are seeking fame and fortune, will feature Colvin and Fierstein dueting on a version of the singer's hit "Polaroids."

In the story, Colvin plays herself heading back to her roots by performing at the intimate Venice Beach, Calif., club Who's Who, which is the centerpiece of "Fame L.A." Fierstein will play her manager, Jeremy Pinter, who in reality is Fierstein's brother and Colvin's manager.

Executive Producer Richard Barton Lewis relates: "Shawn loves playing at the small clubs where she started her career -- "FAME L.A.'s Who's Who represents the very best of that world." (Lana Fanelli)
