Posted Sep 06, 2002 12:00 AM

Shaggy will try to match the 10 million worldwide sales of 2000's Hotshot with the release of Lucky Day on October 29th. The album's first single, "Hey Sexy Lady," has already hit radio.

"In true Shaggy style, [Lucky Day] is going to be completely different than before," he says. "The whole album is based on women. 'Strength of a Woman' is about how when a man cheats on a woman she always knows. It's written all over his face. When a woman cheats, you'll never find out. A woman knows how to handle her business right, ya know what I'm saying?"

The album was recorded at Shaggy's Big Yard studios in Valley Stream, New York, and features guest spots from dance hall legend Barrington Levy on "Full Control" and singer Rik Rok.
