Sean Joins Lennon Tribute

New performers, presenters added to TNT performance

Sean Lennon, Craig David, Rufus Wainwright and Billy Preston have joined the musical lineup for Come Together: A Night for John Lennon's Words and Music, the all-star tribute to the music of the late Beatle that will take place on October 2nd at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Those performers join a lineup that already includes Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, Stone Temple Pilots, Lou Reed, Marc Anthony, Nelly Furtado, Moby, Shelby Lynne, Cyndi Lauper, Yolanda Adams under the supervision of musical director Dave Stewart. So far, STP is scheduled to perform "Revolution"; Matthews, "In My Life"; Anthony, "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"; Morissette, "Dear Prudence"; and Lauper, "Strawberry Fields Forever."

Dustin Hoffman, Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Julia Stiles, Tim Roth and Steve Buscemi have also signed on for the event as presenters with Kevin Spacey serving as the host of the evening.

Come Together is part of TNT's Master Series, which has previously honored Brian Wilson, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell and Johnny Cash among others. The show will air live at 8 p.m. ET.

Proceeds from the show will aid New York City relief organizations, including the American Red Cross, the September 11th Fund, the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund, the Salvation Army, the Twin Towers Fund in addition to the Violence Policy Center and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
