Japanese fans waiting to see the son, or is that "sun," of John Lennon on his recently scheduled tour will have to wait.

In order to replace a drummer who recently quit his band, young rocker Sean Lennon, whose debut Grand Royal release Into the Sun hit the streets May 15, has canceled all the dates of his Japanese tour. A Billboard report said that rescheduled dates for the tour, which was slated to begin on Friday and last through May 28, will be postponed until September.

Lennon, will, however, be in attendance for the third Tibetan Freedom Concert that has been planned for June 13 and 14. In a flash of good news for Lennon fans who could not snatch up Tibet tickets on May 2, festival organizers announced Friday that they will sell more tickets next week. Two thousand tickets per day have been allocated for the sold-out weekend performance and will only be available through the Tibetan Freedom Concert official website www.tickets.Tibet98.com beginning May 26.

The third Tibetan Freedom Concert will take place at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.. Beck, Tracy Chapman, Dave Matthews, R.E.M. and a host of others will kick off the first of the two shows planned with Tribe Called Quest, Kraftwerk, The Verve and Luscious Jackson closing out the event.
