Album Reviews
There's no dropoff in quality on this third CD drawn from Los Angeles radio station KCRW's rightly beloved Morning Becomes Eclectic show. Sounds features knockout live-in-the-studio and mostly stripped-down renditions of tracks by Radiohead, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, the Polyphonic Spree and others; the Flaming Lips' hushed piano-and-vocals-only version of "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1" particularly slays.
