Former Van Halen frontmen David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar have added a second leg to their Song for Song: The Heavyweight Champs of Rock and Roll tour. After the outing's first leg wraps on June 29th, the pair will take four weeks off before heading out again July 23rd for a stretch of dates that will run through a September 7th show in Las Vegas.

Hagar and Roth have been sharing headlining duties so far on the trek, which kicked off May 29th and has featured plenty of vintage Van Halen material. "Between the two of us, what you have is quintessential Americana," Roth said upon announcing the tour this spring. "Between us, we've sold probably between eighty million and a hundred million records, before bootlegs. And whether you own it or not, you've heard Sammy's or my voice tearing out of a pick-up truck in front of you at the drive through at the local Burger King for how many fucking summers? The time is appropriate now because we have a whole busload of people out there who have been waiting way too long for something really good to happen with this music, and we're going to serve it this summer."
