American Idol winner Ruben Studdard is working on his debut album under the direction of music mogul Clive Davis and producer-songwriter Harold Lilly (Angie Stone, Craig David).

Studdard promises that his CD will have a little of everything. "My fan base was so broad that I can't leave people out," he says. "I'll do a gospel song, a few pop songs, some club tunes. . . ." Naturally, the album will also include a couple of covers (of the Bee Gees and Donny Hathaway).

But the soul singer is most excited about "Can I Get Your Attention," a new track he recorded with rapper Fat Joe. "It's hot," Studdard says. "We're both big guys -- it was like synergy."
