(NEW YORK) - Uncorrected Personality Traits: The Robyn Hitchcock Collection compiles the best of the melodic guitarist/vocalist's 1980-1987 post-Soft Boys output. The album, due Aug. 5 on Rhino Records, features 20 of the Englishman's best tracks, including alternative rock staples "The Man With The Lightbulb Head," "Queen Elvis II," and "If You Were A Priest." Early 1998 will see the release of the Jonathan Demme film Storefront Hitchcock, in which the singer performs for shoppers in a Manhattan store window; the Oscar-winning director captured the Talking Heads in a similar fashion in 1984's Stop Making Sense.
