Just two months after brothers Chris and Rich Robinson announced the reunion of the Black Crowes with seven shows at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, the band will launch a complete North American tour beginning April 21st in Houston, Texas.

Joining Chris (vocals) and Rich (guitar) on the trek are former Crowes guitarist Marc Ford (absent since 1997), bassist Sven Pipien, who departed in 2000, and longtime keyboardist Eddie Hawrysch. Drummer Bill Dobrow, formerly of Rich's band Hookah Brown, will step in for Steve Gorman.

Since announcing a hiatus in early 2002, the Robinson brothers have worked on separate projects. In 2003, Rich formed Hookah Brown, but the band dissolved months later due to financial disagreements. He released a solo album, Paper, last year.

Chris released his solo debut, New Earth Mud, in 2002 and followed it up with This Magnificent Distance last year.

The tour, which includes stops at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, will be the band's first lives shows since October of 2001.
