Album Reviews
Trying to keep track of just the official Wu-Tang Clan members requires a supercomputer as powerful as 2001's HAL; only the truly brave and brainy would dare try to follow all of the pals, interns, and associates as well. But if you think you're that smart, this compilation will get your
synapses firing, as it collects tracks from Wu-Tang side projects, collaborations, and interns. There ain't a bad track in the bunch, but the highlights seem to be the remixes (such as RZA's reworking of "Eyes A Bleed" by Bounty Killer featuring Masta Killa) and the collaborations with rappers and R&B stars (like Method Man and Redman teaming with D'Angelo for "Left & Right"). Which might lead you to think the crowning achievement is GZA's remix of "Greyhound Part 2" by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion featuring Killah Priest, but that track is eclipsed, however slightly, by this disc's pure rap jams.
