Life Won't Wait may be the title of the upcoming Rancid disc, but the band's fans will have to wait just a little longer to hear it.|

Originally scheduled for a May release, the street date has been pushed back to June 9. The record reportedly features a fairly substantial ska influence, a passion that frontman/guitarist Tim Armstrong and bassist Matt Freeman first explored as members of the seminal outfit Operation Ivy.

Life Won't Wait is the long awaited follow-up to 1995's And Out Come the Wolves, a record that included the ska number "Time Bomb" which became a minor hit for the band. (Scott Hess)
