The sixth album from the formerly married couple Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss feels as much like a hidden indie-pop gem as its predecessors. Coomes bangs his piano, tortures his guitar and sings in a cracked indie wail, while Weiss keeps the backbeat steady and varied and chips in some more soothing vocals. Somehow the whole thing remains shambolically tuneful and engaging.
