South Park Selects Primus For Theme Tune

Posted Aug 19, 1997 12:00 AM

South Park, one of the most promising new comedies that recently debuted on Comedy Central, enlisted the help of farcical Bay-area trio Primus to cook up its theme song. The sharp and sarcastic series will feature childishly drawn youngsters engaged in violent scenarios often involving highly insulting language....cool! The Comedy Central adult cartoon was created by Primus fans Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who first saw the band as students at the University of Colorado in 1989. Primus is currently touring in support of their new release, The Brown Album. (BB)
