Primus set to release "Videoplasty" home video for the holidays

Posted Oct 29, 1998 12:00 AM

MTV hasn't exactly bent over backwards accommodating Primus over the years, but -- believe it or not -- the eccentric trio has quite a few music videos under its belt, some of which will be included on the Videoplasty home video, due out Dec. 1. Its release comes more than four months after the group came correct with Rhinoplasty, an all-covers EP.

Videoplasty will feature at least seven music videos the band has made since the release of 1993's Pork Soda, including "My Name is Mud," "Mr. Krinkle," "DMV," "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver," "Southbound Pachyderm," "Shake Hands with Beef" and "Over the Falls," along with live footage filmed at a recent gig at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, Calif., and zany behind-the-scenes stuff from the road.
