Primal Scream will release Evil Heat, their eighth album and first since 2000's XTRMNTR, on November 26th. The album was recorded by former Stone Roses bassist Mani in London earlier this year and includes guest appearances by Robert Plant, model Kate Moss and others.

Plant adds harmonica to "The Lord Is My Shotgun," while Moss plays Nancy Sinatra to Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie's Lee Hazelwood on a cover of "Some Velvet Morning." Gillespie's former Jesus and Mary Chain band mate Jim Reid also adds a vocal to "Detroit." Andy Weatherall and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields both add mixing work to several songs on the album.

Evil Heat will also include forty-five minutes of enhanced material, including the videos for the album's first single "Miss Lucifer" and "Autobahn 66," and four live performances -- "Rocks," "Moving On Up," "Swastika Eyes" and "Kowalski" -- from the band's V2002 Festival appearance earlier this year.
