About six weeks ago, Primal Scream drummer Paul Mulreany left the band. His departure came just before the release of their new album, Vanishing Point, on which Mulreany plays on only three songs. And just like many musical splits, Mulreany exited the band because it just wasn't working out for him.

The U.K. based-psychedelic rockers then hit the road in Europe and instead of finding a new drummer to tour with them, the band simply replaced Mulreany with - get this - a drum machine. Now if that's not a humbling experience.... (AB)
